The Ten Plagues
To live “in clover” means to live a “don’t worry, be happy” lifestyle. Not very many of us live that way. Most of us are worriers. But we don’t have to be. Do you know why? Because God has taken care of our number one need: forgiveness. The Passover is a picture of how Jesus would one day cover all our sins with his blood, saving us from the punishment we deserve for our sins. Jesus died on the cross like a Passover lamb so that God’s punishment could pass over us. By asking Jesus to be our Savior, we can live in clover now … and forever. I Live in Clover Cause of Passover

The Ten Plagues
Moses and his brother Aaron went to Pharaoh's palace. They said, "You must let the Israelites go free. If you do not, God will punish you." Because Pharaoh refused to obey, God began to send terrible plagues on Egypt. One at a time, God sent ten plagues.
1st Plague: God changed the river water into blood. Nobody could drink it. The fish died, and the river smelled terrible. Pharaoh called for his magicians again and they did the same things. So, Pharaoh’s heart became hard; he would not listen to Moses and Aaron. Instead, he turned and went into his palace.
2nd Plague: God sent frogs. The frogs came up from the water and completely covered the land. There were so many frogs that they couldn’t do anything! Pharaoh called for his magicians again and they did the same things, they also made frogs, but they couldn't make them go away! Pharaoh said, “Ask your God to make the frogs go away, and I will let His people go.” So, God made the frogs go away! But Pharaoh changed his mind! He said “No! The Israelites cannot go.”
3rd Plague: God sent gnats. Again, Pharaoh called for his magicians, but they could not make gnats. They told Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God. "Pharaoh said, “Ask your God to make the gnats go away, and I will let His people go.” So, God made the gnats go away, but Pharaoh changed his mind! He said “No! The Israelites cannot go.”
4th Plague: God sent flies. Swarms of flies covered the land, except where the Israelites lived. Pharaoh said, “Ask your God to make the flies go away, and I will let His people go.” So, God made the flies go away! Pharaoh changed his mind! He said “No! The Israelites cannot go.”
5th Plague: All the Egyptian’s cows, goats and sheep died. But none of the Israelites' animals even got sick. Pharaoh said, “Ask your God to stop killing our animals, and I will let His people go.” So, God stopped killing the Egyptians’ animals! Pharaoh changed his mind! He said “No! The Israelites cannot go.”
6th Plague: Horrible boils break out on everyone in Egypt. They were sick and in a lot of pain! Pharaoh called for his magicians, but they could not come because they were in too much pain. Pharaoh said, “Ask your God to make the boils go away, and I will let His people go.” So, God made the boils go away! Pharaoh changed his mind! He said “No! The Israelites cannot go.”
7th Plague: Hailstorms fall on Egypt. All the people and animals that are left outside were killed! It was the worst storm the Land of Egypt ever had, but no hail fell on the Land of the Israelites. Pharaoh said, “Ask your God to stop the hailstorms, and I will let His people go.” So, God made the hail stop! Pharaoh changed his mind! He said “No!”
8th Plague: God sent locusts. Locusts covered Egypt. They ate everything left after the hailstorm! Pharaoh called for his officials, but they told Pharaoh "Let the people go! Don't you know Egypt is ruined?" Pharaoh said, “Ask your God to make the locusts go away, and I will let His people go.” So, God made the locusts go away! Pharaoh changed his mind! He said “No!”
9th Plague: God sent darkness. Total darkness covered Egypt for three days. It was so dark no one could even move, except the Israelites'. They had light as usual. Pharaoh said, “Ask your God to make the darkness go away, and I will let His people go.” So, God made the darkness go away! Pharaoh changed his mind! He said “No! The slaves cannot go.” "Get out of my sight! Make sure you do not appear before me again! The day you see my face you will die.” “Just as you say,” Moses replied.
10th Plague: This is the last and worst of all the plagues. God told Moses that the last plague would be so terrible that Pharaoh would let His people go! At midnight the “Angel of Death” went through Egypt, and every firstborn son in Egypt died, from the firstborn of Pharaoh to the firstborn of the prisoner, and even the firstborn of all the animals. Pharaoh and all the Egyptians got up during the night, and there was loud crying and screaming all over Egypt, for there was not a house without someone dead, but the plague “Passed Over” the Israelites. And finally, Pharaoh said, “GO NOW!” There was no Pharaoh or king, or person who could stop God from His plan. God with His mighty power saved the children of Israel.
As God’s children, we can be sure our God is able to handle the most difficult and hopeless problems. As His children, God has promised to protect us! So, when you have frogs, or problems thrown at you remember to pray. The Lord hears the cries of His children!
