Creation
A mirror on its own is just a piece of glass with a special coating. What makes a mirror really special is the way it shows the figure or image in front of it. You probably used a mirror this morning to get ready for the day. Maybe you brushed your hair and made sure your clothes were just right. Your mirror’s job was to show or reflect your image. When God made people, He gave us the job of reflecting His image like a mirror. That’s extra special, isn’t it? Everyone – including you – has God’s image inside. You reflect what God is like just as your mirror reflects how you look! When we are kind and forgiving, we allow God’s love to be “reflected” off our life like a mirror reflects the way we look. Then everyone can understand God a little better. Mirror, Mirror, On The Wall, God’s Image Is In Us All

Creation
"In the beginning God...” (Genesis 1:1)
Everything in this world and in this life begins with God. God has no beginning or end. God created everything by design. It did not just happen.
Day 1 - God separated the light from the darkness. He called the light “day” and the darkness “night”.
Day 2 – God separated the sky and the sea.
Day 3 – God let the waters flow together, so dry ground may appear.” The dry ground is “land” and the waters “seas”. He also then created all the plants and trees.
Day 4 - God made two great lights, the sun and the moon. He also made the stars, seasons, days and years.
Day 5 - God made every living thing that swarms in the water, and every sort of bird.
Day 6 – Every animal was created! Then God said, “Let us make man in Our image, to be like Us. So God created man in His own image.
Day 7 - On the seventh day God had finished His work of creation, so he rested.
When God made man, He reached down into the ground and scooped up some dust from the earth. He took the dust from the earth into His hands and formed it into a man. But the man just laid there on the ground like a lump of clay. There was no life in him. So, God bent down and breathed into the man, and the man became alive! God called the man, “Adam”.
But Adam was lonely. So, God made Adam fall asleep, and while Adam was sleeping, God took one of his ribs. God took Adam's rib, and he made a woman from it. When Adam woke up, God brought Eve to him (that's what Adam named her later), and Adam said, "At last! Here is someone like me! Her bones were made from my bones, and her body was made from my body. I will call her 'woman' because that means she was taken out of man." Adam and Eve lived together in God's garden.
When God made Adam and Eve, He gave them a choice. He loved them very much and wanted them to love Him too. But He wanted it to be their choice. Remember, Adam's body was made from the earth, but his life came from the breath of God. Our life is from the breath of God too. God loves us just as much as He loved Adam & Eve! He wants to walk and talk with us, just like He did with them in the garden! He wants us to CHOOSE to love Him!
