Don’t you think dillydally is a funny-sounding word? Dilly is just silly with a D. And dally is like the word delay, which means to put something off. So dilly dally means “to be silly and delay.” Thousands of people waste their lives in the “Valley of Decision.” We wonder why they would dillydally there when God has offered to take them to high ground. God is just waiting to forgive them and be the guide by their side every day. If you’re in the valley and not sure about following God, don’t dillydally another second.     We learned about creation. Remember God made the heavens, then created the whole world? That was awesome!

    We learned about sin. Remember Adam & Eve in the garden, breaking God’s rule?

    We learned about the whole world gone bad. Remember Noah and his family, and how God saved them? Noah prayed and called out to the Lord every day.

    We learned about a man named Abraham and the big promises God made to him. We’ve talked about moments in the life of Isaac and Jacob, and about how God started the nation of Israel through this family.

    We learned about the life of Joseph. There were many ‘thumbs up’ and ‘thumbs down’ moments throughout Joseph’s life, but we saw that God worked it all together for good. He used Joseph to save his family during the famine.

    God has done BIG things. But God has done BIG things for us too! We were helpless to do anything about sin, but like Noah we can pray and cry to God for help. When we cry to God for help, God will come to our rescue just like He did for Noah.

    God rescued us from our sin by sending His Son Jesus. And even today we know God will continue to rescue us! He’s done it before. Just cry out to Him for help.

Remember the time when He created the world? Remember the time He made a Great Nation from Abraham? Remember He sent His Son to save us?

He will never stop rescuing us! God’s love lasts forever.                                            
If you haven’t asked Him to rescue you from your sins, callout to Him! He has been waiting for you!

A mirror on its own is just a piece of glass with a special coating. What makes a mirror really special is the way it shows the figure or image in front of it. You probably used a mirror this morning to get ready for the day. Maybe you brushed your hair and made sure your clothes were just right. Your mirror’s job was to show or reflect your image. When God made people, He gave us the job of reflecting His image like a mirror. That’s extra special, isn’t it? Everyone – including you – has God’s image inside. You reflect what God is like just as your mirror reflects how you look! When we are kind and forgiving, we allow God’s love to be “reflected” off our life like a mirror reflects the way we look. God has blessings for you, too: healthy days, people to love you, food to eat, pets to love, God’s Word to guide you, life with God forever, and so much more! One of the hardest things about being friends with God is getting used to the fact that He’s invisible, at least in this life. And furthermore, this God, whom we can’t see, requires that we follow Him by faith, not by sight. So what does that mean? It means that most of us aren’t told in advance exactly where He’s leading us or how he’s going to get us there. It’s a bit like blindfolding a close friend and taking that person on a “trust walk”. No true friend would ever purposely bump you into a stump or lead you off a cliff. And God is the same way. “You never saw Him, yet you love Him. You don’t see Him now, yet you trust Him…” You see, God seldom lets us see what’s ahead. He simply wants us to trust instead. And when we do, He always gets us there safe and sound.
